What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Approach for donation on new or open referrals at hospitals
- Participate in required meetings and trainings
- Maintain an individual authorization rate to demonstrate best practice skills
- Provide education to donor families on organ and tissue donation
- Advocate for donation while respecting cultural and religious beliefs
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Previous experience approaching families for Organ and Tissue donation
- Bachelor’s Degree in social work, health sciences, or related field
- Experience in hospice care, bereavement counseling, or social work preferred
- Clinical Knowledge: Ability to conduct and document medical/social histories
- Spanish and/or Portuguese language proficiency preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- CPE, CLS, or Social Work License preferred
