      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Conduct interviews to assess needs and assign appropriate resources for clients
      - Perform investigative duties related to reports of child abuse, neglect, and exploitation
      - Provide psychosocial support to individuals and families coping with various challenges
      - Prepare and present cases in civil and criminal court, including testifying as needed
      - Develop and implement service plans tailored to meet the needs of clients

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's Degree in a human services field or any field with a minimum of two (2) years of related experience
      - Valid Commonwealth of Virginia Driver's License or ability to travel to investigation sites
      - Successful completion of criminal records check, including fingerprinting
      - Knowledge of family services and social work theories, practices, and ethical standards
      - Ability to apply crisis intervention methods and effective communication skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in Family Services or related field
      - Familiarity with child welfare laws and adult services regulations
      - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and OASIS software
      - Experience conducting training for staff or community members
      - Previous involvement in community resource development
