What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide education and support to families affected by Rett syndrome, including engaging caregivers throughout the treatment journey
- Determine and address individual needs of patients and caregivers, offering appropriate resources and education
- Collaborate with internal cross-functional partners to support educational initiatives and communication strategies
- Lead caregiver speaker programs and participate in community events to promote awareness and understanding
- Ensure compliance with all laws, regulations, and company policies while representing the employer
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in life sciences; RN, MSN, or MBA is a plus
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry, patient access, or specialty pharmacy
- At least 2 years of experience in patient support, education, or leadership roles
- Strong understanding of rare diseases and the healthcare environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 7+ years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with extensive expertise in patient engagement
- Experience with product launches and advocacy in the healthcare sector
- Background in account management or similar roles
- Proven success in cross-functional collaboration and leadership without direct authority
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient privacy considerations
