Job Description

- Host or attend 5 - 6 events in person a week in assigned state
- Identify community organizations and events and develop an outreach plan
- Create and maintain project documentation, plans, and reports
- Fill out Community Event Survey and take photos during events
- Share information about the Discrimination Financial Assistance Program with farmers and ranchers in the community
- Biweekly check ins with MOT to discuss documentation and report on project progress
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Administrative experience
- Good client-facing and internal communication skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Microsoft Office)Knowledge of state and local farming community

ROLE: Farmer Outreach Coordinator (Project Lead) - PART TIME, IN PERSON
ATS+Partners is hiring a Farmer Outreach Coordinator (Part-time Contractor Position) to work on a USDA-funded outreach initiative. This role will be leading efforts to share information about the USDA’s Discrimination Financial Assistance Program (DFAP) (enacted to provide outreach and technical support services for Farmers and Ranchers who experienced discrimination in USDA Farm Loan Programs). The Farmer Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for sharing program information with various farm community stakeholders and managing project activities.
