What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Promote corporate governance through subject matter expertise in FedRAMP and CMMC
- Facilitate internal and external audits and manage regulatory compliance requests
- Lead client interviews and assessment activities
- Support the FedRAMP/CMMC program, ensuring milestones are achieved
- Test security controls and document results
What is Required (Qualifications):
- At least 5+ years of experience working as a FedRAMP or CMMC Assessor or relevant experience implementing a FedRAMP/CMMC program
- Excellent written communication and presentation skills
- Extensive knowledge of DFARS, NIST SP 800-171, 800-53, and CMMC security frameworks
- Direct experience with compliance audits by an accredited 3PAO
- Passion for business process improvement and system optimization
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with compliance audits in a software development environment
- Familiarity with security frameworks beyond NIST and CMMC
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Previous experience in a federal compliance role
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
