What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Interpret flood hazard data and technical documents to evaluate flood risk
- Answer stakeholder inquiries regarding flood hazard mapping, floodplain management, and flood insurance activities
- Provide excellent customer service by clarifying issues and implementing solutions
- Maintain accuracy in the customer database by capturing and processing required data
- Support the training program by coaching newly hired staff and identifying training needs

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Geography, Geology, Environmental Science, or related field
- 0-3 years of professional experience
- Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP)
- Associate in National Flood Insurance (ANFI) certifications
- Certified in Floodplain Management (CFM)
- Spanish-language proficiency
