      What you’ll do

      As a Fibre Quality & Delivery Specialist for Vodaofne UK you will undertake quality inspection activities on both in progress and completed works, checking and reporting on compliance against the agreed scope, Vodafone specification and agreed budget.

      You will be expected to produce site reports to the Delivery Managerer following attendance at site to ensure the delivery to SLA and provide customer updates.

      The ideal candidate will have Health & Safety knowledge as you will prevent and correct immediate HS&E issues identified on site in support of the H&S Regional Leads and Supplier HSE Teams. It will also be your responsibility to review escalated orders to provide support to planners on delivery dependencies. Assist with alternative solutions where required. Review traffic management requirements and build issues, meeting suppliers on site where required.


      Who you are

      • Expert knowledge of telecommunications installation practices, standards, and legislation (civils, cable, splicing and testing)
      • Expert knowledge of New Roads and Street works Act and relevant codes of practice.
      • Knowledge of HS&E monitoring, legislation, management, and reporting processes
      • Good communicator, written and verbal and ability to engage with groups and individuals alike.
      • NRSWA accredited, New Roads and Street Works Act, Supervisors and Operatives units passed would be beneficial
      • IOSH, Construction Skills Certification Scheme accreditation or similar
      • Full UK driving licence.
