- Preparation of Liner Hanger Equipment.
- Installation of Completion Equipment.
- Develop job specific procedures.
- Attend client’s pre & post job meetings.
- Offshore and onshore mentoring.
- Check equipment workshop and at rig site prior to installation.
- Assist in workshop with equipment maintenance and testing.
- Assist in workshop with equipment load-outs.
- Daily report to town.
- Assist with preparation of End of Well Report (EOWR).
- Update installation databases, WPTS and other tracking systems.
- Required training is undertaken to a satisfactory level of achievement.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and attitude and ensure that - Passport; Medical Certificate; Immunizations; Offshore Survival Certification and any other necessary certification/course’s are kept up to date.
- Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by Line Management within the timeframe specified in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirements, provided the instruction is reasonable and you are capable and deemed.

- Never carry out unauthorized changes to equipment or process.
- Report any defects in facilities, work environment, machinery, tools, equipment, protective measures and protective clothing to your supervisor.
- Do not operate any equipment you have not specifically been trained to use. Only use the right tool for the operation and do not take short cuts.
- Must possess bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- General mechanical aptitude.
- Be legally entitled to work in Turkey without company sponsorship or time restriction.
- Be able to communicate in written and spoken English.
- Demonstrate solid experience different types of LHS and operations.
- Be able to work varied work schedule and be available for a 24 hour call out as necessary.
- Experience in an oilfield service/contractor company, minimum 5 years, or graduate training scheme.
- Computer-literacy.
- Knowledge of rig systems and drilling/completion/production operations, and a good understanding of down-hole hydraulics.
- Ability to work in a team environment, as well as an ability to discern key information to resolve potential problems.
- A working knowledge of cased hole completions.
- A working knowledge of intervention equipment.
- A general understanding of open hole completions.
- Must have good organisational skills.
- Ability to discern key information and identify actions for complex problems.
- Possess good, basic supervisory skills, and proven communication skills.
- Demonstrate proven ability to participate well in a team environment.
- Demonstrate proven ability to work unsupervised and exercise initiative to resolve potential problems.
- Must be able to anticipate customer needs and be a key player in developing relationships.
- Must have a clear customer focus and be able to understand the variety of people and business cultures in different areas of the business and respond to them accordingly.
- Must be able to use the right information and/or systems and/or technology and be able to consistently identify and recommend improvements as appropriate.
- Must be a team player with good communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities
Summary of Overall Job Purpose:
To support the on-going & expansion of “Weatherford’s” Liner Hanger activities. Within operations for clients there is a requirement for a completions field engineer to assist in the preparation of equipment onshore/offshore and installation at the worksite.
The primary business currently is Liner Hanger Systems and Cementation. All these operations require a significant amount of preparation onshore/offshore such as inspection, testing, completion of documentation, preparing for load-out and post operation backload inspection and reporting.
The workload will be a mixture of onshore and offshore, the engineer will be expected to be flexible. Currently LHS’s are prepared by the workshop LHS technician, due to the volume of work the field engineer will assist in workshop activities when there are no ongoing rig site operations.
As and when new LH assembly is introduced the field engineer will assist to carryout successful deployment. The field engineer should be prepared to assist with the installation of Liner equipment, and operation calculations.
The opportunity will exist for cross training in other completion product lines and liner equipment.
