What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the patient access subject matter expert for all therapies within the assigned geography
- Educate healthcare professionals on payer coverage, prior authorization requirements, and reimbursement pathways
- Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize patient access and enhance customer experience
- Identify and escalate patient access issues, driving timely resolution through engagement with stakeholders
- Monitor and communicate evolving payer landscape and access trends within oncology to stakeholders
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Marketing, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry, including 4+ years of patient access or relevant reimbursement experience in oncology
- 2+ years of ‘buy and bill’ experience
- Proven ability to build credibility and trust with stakeholders through effective cross-functional partnership
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Launch experience in oncology for both oral and injectable products
- Demonstrated experience in specialty pharmacy, payer dynamics, and copay assistance
- Residency in AL, KY, NC, SC, or TN or close proximity to the designated area of responsibility
