What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide comprehensive pre- and post-sales support for opportunities requiring Field Sales Engineer involvement
- Execute high-level system designs including site surveys, camera placements, and bandwidth calculations
- Collaborate across multiple departments to meet performance goals in a timely manner
- Conduct technology and customer-specific training sessions
- Represent the employer at industry trade shows and events
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent skills-based training in an electronic field trade
- Minimum of 4 years of security industry experience, preferably in a customer-facing pre-sales role
- Strong knowledge of the physical security and IT markets, including troubleshooting advanced network issues
- Excellent technical writing and presentation skills
- Proven ability to manage time effectively and multitask in a dynamic environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Axis Certified Professional designation
- Experience with video transport protocols and compression technologies
- Strong networking knowledge including TCP/IP, routers, and switches
- Ability to convey complex technologies and specifications clearly
- Positive customer-centric attitude and strong public speaking skills
