What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Participate in pre-sales activities by evaluating data infrastructure solutions for compatibility and performance
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineering teams to communicate customer needs and recommend product enhancements
- Present and demonstrate transceiver solutions at customer sites, highlighting technical advantages
- Troubleshoot customer issues hands-on, recommending necessary equipment or configurations
- Support the sales team by leveraging technical knowledge of transceiver technologies to assist customers in selecting appropriate solutions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Sales support experience in the information technology or data center industry
- Knowledge of Optical Fiber cabling and connectivity
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and experience with Salesforce.com
- Strong oral and written communication skills, along with organizational and planning abilities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Autocad and Visio or similar design software
- Cabling and Connectivity Infrastructure design experience
- Long-haul metro network experience
