      Field Sales Executive

      Location: Homebased Covering Kent and East Sussex

      Type: Permanent, Full-time

      Salary: £28,000 - £34,000 (Dependent on experience)

      OTE between £2,300 and £2,500 per quarter if all targets are achieved

      The Role

      As a Field Sales Executive at Calor Gas, you will play a key role in securing new business and retaining existing customers. Your focus will be on understanding customer needs, presenting our value proposition effectively, and closing sales. You will:

      • Drive Sales Growth: Convert new business leads into contract wins by engaging with potential customers in the field.
      • Enhance Customer Retention: Develop and present compelling propositions to retain existing customers, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
      • Understand Customer Needs: Use your knowledge of Calor’s products and services to clearly identify and meet customer needs, including technical solutions.
      • Build Relationships: Cultivate a network of third-party influencers, such as specifiers and installer groups, to generate referrals and expand our customer base.
      • Ensure Compliance: Make sure all installations meet industry LPG siting requirements, minimizing failed or aborted projects.
      • Champion Customer Focus: Gather and act on customer feedback to continuously improve the sales journey and overall customer experience.
      • Safety First: Take personal accountability for maintaining high safety standards, in line with Calor’s life-saving rules.
      • Efficient Time Management: Prioritize your workload effectively to meet customer expectations while maintaining excellent administrative standards.

      About You

      We’re looking for someone who:

      • Has proven experience in a professional field sales environment.
      • Excels in selling technical solutions tailored to customer needs.
      • Is familiar with Salesforce or a similar CRM system.
      • Is driven by results, with a strong record of meeting sales targets in B2C and/or B2B environments.
      • Can build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and influencers.
      • Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills.
      • Demonstrates strong negotiation abilities and understands the financial impact of pricing on customer profitability.
      • Has solid commercial acumen, with the ability to grasp financial models and factors affecting customer lifetime value.
      • Is self-motivated with a proactive approach to improving the customer experience.
      • Is proficient in Microsoft Office.

      Requirements
