      Department Overview

      The Financial Planning department partners with managers to create the annual Operating and Capital budgets and assists with variance analysis of actual activity versus budgeted activity. This department also provides to all levels of management program profitability reporting, financial information, and analysis to support organizational and departmental decisions.



      Position Summary

      Duties may include:

      • Preparation of workpapers for regulatory filings, assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable, conduct research and financial modeling, create presentations and reports.
      • Participate in assigned leadership and departmental meetings.
      • Complete a capstone project to show knowledge and skills developed throughout the internship.
      • Other duties as assigned.

      Requirements:

      • Must be fully admitted to an applicable undergraduate or graduate program in finance or accounting. MBA students will also be considered.
      • Must be graduating between September 2026 and December 2027.
      • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
      • Must be available to work June 1, 2026 through August 14, 2026 and be a commutable distance from Edina, MN. This is a hybrid role and the team will meet on-site in Edina.

      Skills and Abilities:

      • Candidates should have the ability to effectively communicate, understand financial implications that drive the business and express business concerns in financial terms.
      • Familiarity with finance and accounting concepts and theory.
      • Maintain confidentiality.
      • Tactfully interact and communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
      • Competency in Microsoft Office products (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
      • Preferred: Effectively research and interpret information available on the internet.
      • Preferred: Previous finance experience.
      • Preferred: Ability to develop and implement data analytic techniques.

        The posted salary represents a market competitive range based on salary survey benchmark data for similar roles in the local or national market. When determining individual pay rates, we carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate, internal equity and organizational needs.

        In addition to your salary, this position may be eligible for medical, dental, vision, retirement, and other fringe benefits. Positions that require night, weekend or on-call work may be eligible for shift differentials or premium pay.
