      Job Summary:

      The Finance Operations (FO) Lead for Americas is a pivotal leadership role responsible for the Finance and Accounting function within MBGSP Americas. The FO Lead holds full responsibility for the day-to-day service and project delivery of all Finance and Accounting operations activities while actively steering the transformation of the current Americas set-up towards the Target Operating Model. This role requires a dynamic leader who can manage complex projects, foster innovation, and ensure the successful implementation of transformation strategies across the organization, while having a deep understanding of the business and accounting.

      Key Responsibilities:

      1. Financial Reporting and Analysis:
        • Oversee the preparation and delivery of accurate and timely financial reports.
        • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.
        • Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
      1. Operational Management:
        • Manage day-to-day finance and accounting operations, including subledger and general ledger.
        • Ensure efficient and effective service delivery across all finance operations activities.
        • Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
      2. Transformation Leadership:
        • Lead the transformation efforts towards the new Finance Operations Target Operating Model.
        • Develop and execute strategies to optimize finance processes and enhance operational efficiency.
        • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to align finance operations with best practices and industry standards.
      3. Project Management:
        • Manage finance-related projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
        • Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
        • Utilize project management tools and methodologies to track progress and report on outcomes.
      4. Stakeholder Engagement:
        • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
        • Communicate effectively with senior leadership, providing updates on finance operations and transformation initiatives.
        • Act as a liaison between finance teams and other departments to ensure alignment and collaboration.
      5. Performance Measurement:
        • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of finance operations and transformation initiatives.
        • Analyze performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
        • Report on performance and provide actionable insights to drive decision-making.
      6. Further related ad hoc and on top duties as required

      Qualifications:

      • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree or CPA preferred).
      • Proven experience in managing finance and accounting operations.
      • Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and regulations.
      • Experience in leading transformation initiatives within finance operations.
      • Excellent project management skills, including proficiency with project management software.
      • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
