      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Manage hospital’s third-party reimbursement activities, including the preparation and filing of Medicare and Medicaid cost reports
      - Oversee audits conducted by third-party payers and maintain expertise in reimbursement processes
      - Conduct monthly analysis of contractual and settlement accounts
      - Provide financial impact analyses on proposed and finalized regulations to hospital leadership
      - Monitor the status of appeals and assist with their preparation and filing

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
      - Minimum 10 years of progressive hospital reimbursement experience, including Medicare and Medicaid cost report preparation
      - Leadership experience in healthcare finance, preferably in large health systems or academic medical centers
      - Hands-on experience preparing cost reports and expertise in various reimbursement methodologies
      - CPA certification preferred

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - In-depth knowledge of PPS-Exempt Cancer Hospital reimbursement and related reporting
      - Experience with GME/IME reporting and 340(b) program compliance
      - Strong project management skills in leading complex reimbursement projects
      - Advanced financial analytical skills, particularly in forecasting and variance analysis
      - Effective communication skills with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
