What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist in the review of financial statements and preparation of multi-year financial analysis spreadsheets for developers/guarantors of LIHTC and predevelopment transactions
- Identify key characteristics from financial analysis and communicate findings to the Credit Underwriter
- Analyze consolidated statements to evaluate the financial condition of entities involved in transactions
- Manage the due diligence process and handle non-public documents for the financial review process
- Perform other special tasks as assigned
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial analysis or auditing
- Excellent analytical skills and effective written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to coordinate complex activities and meet deadlines
- High levels of motivation and ethics
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Related experience in auditing and/or financial analysis of real estate development companies and non-profits
- Some knowledge of LIHTC equity underwriting or real estate feasibility analysis
