      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Develop and maintain research budgets while monitoring expenses for compliance with policies
      - Serve as the primary research liaison between the school and other departments regarding research activities
      - Collaborate with assigned Principal Investigators to facilitate and support research proposal preparation
      - Prepare and analyze grant financial reports, metrics, benchmarks, and budgets as directed
      - Identify and apply technology and best practices for continuous process improvement

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or a related field
      - At least 2 years of relevant work experience in research finance
      - Working knowledge and understanding of grant finance and management practices
      - Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with individuals at all levels of the institution
      - Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of pre/post-award research work experience with an emphasis on pre-award
      - Familiarity with NIH and other federal agencies' policies and procedures
      - Advanced skills in Excel, including Pivot Tables
      - Progressive development of analytical and evaluative skills
      - High degree of professionalism in all interactions
