      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Develop and maintain research budgets while monitoring expenses for compliance with policies
      - Serve as the primary research liaison between the school and other departments
      - Collaborate with Principal Investigators to support research proposal preparation and development
      - Prepare and analyze grant financial reports, budgets, and financial forecasts as directed
      - Stay current with industry trends and analytical techniques necessary for job functions

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting or equivalent in a related field
      - At least 2 years of relevant work experience
      - Understanding of NIH and other federal agencies' policies and procedures
      - Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with individuals at all institutional levels
      - Strong organizational and planning skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of Pre/Post-award research work experience with an emphasis on pre-award
      - Working knowledge of Excel, including Pivot Tables
      - Progressive development of analytical and evaluative skills
      - Demonstrated ability to solve problems effectively
      - Experience in grant finance and management practices
