      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Analyze complex patient-level financial and clinical data to support strategic hospital decision-making
      - Interface with executive and physician leadership to define project scope and identify data sources
      - Audit multiple systems and data for reasonableness and investigate variances
      - Collaborate with professional and technical teams to improve business operations
      - Benchmark operations against best practices and internal objectives

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Related Bachelor’s degree
      - Minimum of five years of experience in hospital or medical group financial analysis
      - Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Tableau
      - Excellent communication, interpersonal, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
      - Understanding of healthcare coding systems (e.g., ICD-10-CM/PCS, UB-04, HCPCS, MS DRG, CPT, etc.)

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - MBA or MPH
      - Proficiency in SAS, Visual Basic, SQL, Visio, and Publisher
      - Knowledge of hospital decision support and EMR systems, EPSi and Epic
      - Familiarity with commercial HMO/PPO, Medicare, and Medi-Cal reimbursement mechanisms
      - Ability to anticipate and respond to rapid changes and industry shifts
