      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Process invoices and travel vouchers in compliance with federal, state, and agency requirements
      - Review and approve contract invoices to ensure compliance with budget limits
      - Conduct complex analysis to resolve issues related to accounts payable
      - Prepare, reconcile, and analyze general ledger entries and subsidiary ledgers
      - Collaborate with various teams to ensure accurate financial documentation and resolve discrepancies

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Technical knowledge of professional accounting principles and practices, or completion of 18 quarter or 12 semester hours in accounting, auditing, or budgeting
      - Associate's degree in accounting, with experience applying GAAP and handling general ledger accounting
      - Knowledge and experience with the Agency Financial Reporting System (AFRS) and the State Administrative & Accounting Manual (SAAM)
      - Demonstrated ability to research and analyze information from multiple sources
      - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree in any field with the required accounting credits
      - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and willingness to learn virtual collaboration tools
      - Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks effectively
      - Experience in documenting processes and procedures for consistency
      - Familiarity with fiscal research and interagency financial operations
