      BAE Systems' Electronic Systems Sector is currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, to add to the Sector LCM Team. The candidate selected for this position will function as the Lifecycle Management (LCM) Finance Lead for the quarterly PPR Pack/CSR process as well as the Lead Trainer for all LCM activities. This role reports to the Sector LCM Manager but also closely supports the Business Area LCM Managers and Program Teams. This unique position gives a broad view of the programmatic operations across the ES Sector. This role works closely with the Finance and Program Manager community and interfaces as well with Senior Level Leaders in Finance and other functions.
      This role can be performed in a full-time remote format. However, occasionally there are in-person meetings with the broader LCM Team.

      Job Responsibilities:

      • Gain a comprehensive understanding of LCM Process and Policy related to Project Finance by demonstrating the application of LCM principles through ownership of PPR Packs to analyze financial metrics such as risk, technical contingency and margin.

      • Collaborate with BA LCM leads and Program Teams to ensure communication of compliance with LCM policy.

      • Support Business Area LCM Leads by maintaining the Rate Reserve Dashboard, Progress Billing Template, and regularly scheduled meetings with BA LCMs.

        • Support the Quarterly COSA Process to internally review programs to prep for external audits.

        • Support the development of the annual 3C list and maintain 3C quarterly reporting.

      • Lead the Sector LCM Team in two training classes and multiple learning sessions for the Project Finance population.

      • Assist in the annual submission of the Business Risk Management Register and the 1921-3 report.

      • Develop and implement innovative solutions which will increase efficiencies, data insights, eliminate nonvalue add activities such as program performance trends and predictive analysis to identify programs with poor performance utilizing automated dashboard reporting and minimizing the reliance on excel.

      • Gain exposure to Senior Management through project initiatives such as new tools and processes.

      • Monthly/quarterly presentations with Senior Directors and the ES VP of Finance.

      • Proficient Microsoft Office skills –Word, Power Point, Excel (strong skills in macros and dashboards)

      • Ability to work independently, self-motivated, process/results oriented

      • Ability to prioritize and self-manage a multi-tasked workload in a fast-paced environment

      • Ability to make decisions with sound judgment while complying with policies and procedures

      • Demonstrated problem solving and in-depth analytical skills

      • Ability to work cooperatively across multiple finance and non-finance functions with strong communication skills

      • Familiarity with Program Finance deliverables and Finance cycles (monthly/quarterly)

      • Leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills necessary for interfacing with all levels of management, across functions, and with Finance employees
