      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Ensure accurate completion of registration and insurance fields in the hospital registration information system
      - Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and authorization for inpatient and outpatient services
      - Calculate and communicate patient liability prior to service delivery
      - Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations throughout the insurance verification process
      - Collaborate with medical staff and communicate authorization outcomes for proposed admissions and procedures

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High school diploma or GED required
      - Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital, health plan, or physician office environment
      - Knowledge of medical terminology, coding, and business office procedures
      - Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
      - Ability to interpret patient liability and benefits for various payer types

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with insurance verification and authorizations in a healthcare setting
      - Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 coding systems
      - Strong time management and organizational skills
      - Experience in conducting pre-registration and facilitating self-pay estimates
