      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Independently process invoices, reimbursements, and refunds in compliance with university policies
      - Maintain knowledge of UW-System regulations and advise various stakeholders on compliance issues
      - Audit and analyze invoices for accuracy, ensuring the existence of necessary supporting documentation
      - Manage supplier files and collaborate with departments to resolve discrepancies and inquiries
      - Provide training and expert advice to student workers and staff regarding financial processes

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Associate degree in business, finance, accounting, or a closely related field
      - Minimum of two years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field
      - Strong interpersonal skills, including effective written and oral communication
      - Proficiency in financial software packages, such as Workday or PeopleSoft
      - Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or closely related field
      - Previous experience in higher education or governmental accounting
      - Familiarity with tax identification reporting and compliance
