What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop sales opportunities targeting specific user segments in the safety and fire market
- Provide training and education to authorized distributors on product offerings and sales techniques
- Represent the employer at trade associations, industry meetings, and conferences
- Prepare and execute sales proposals, contracts, and customer correspondence
- Provide management with reports on competitive offerings, pricing, market information, and product developments
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or college diploma from an accredited institution with five (5) years of combined Sales and/or Marketing experience in relevant environments
- Five (5) years of commercial experience with technical products, or ten (10) years of selling experience in safety or fire markets with a high school diploma
- Current, valid Driver’s License
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Experience with CRM and Microsoft & iOS applications
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Five (5) years of experience in Safety or Industrial Sales
- Experience as a manufacturer representative in the Fire Service Industry
- Background as a firefighter or selling in the Fire Segment
- Skills in interpersonal selling, negotiation, public speaking, and project leadership
- Familiarity with CRM systems and proficiency in Microsoft & iOS applications
