  Job Summary:
  The Firewall/Proxy Engineer safeguards the Bank’s technological and digital assets by mitigating exposure to cyber threats, security risks, and unauthorized access. This role requires high technical expertise to assess networks, applications, and systems for vulnerabilities, implement protective measures, and resolve security incidents in real time. The engineer maintains up-to-date knowledge of industry practices, emerging technologies, and evolving threats to continually strengthen defenses and ensure regulatory compliance.
  Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess organizational networks, applications, and systems for potential vulnerabilities.
  • Mitigate security risks through firewall and proxy configuration, monitoring, and incident resolution.
  • Protect assets and information with proactive security strategies.
  • Resolve security issues or incidents promptly and effectively.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of current and emerging security technologies and threats.
  • Provide technical guidance to less experienced associates in the work group.
  Required Experience:
  • Proven experience in firewall and proxy administration.
  • Strong background in network and information security.
  • Hands-on experience mitigating cyber threats and resolving incidents.
  
  Nice-to-Have Experience:
  • Experience in the financial services industry.
  • Mentoring or leadership experience with junior team members.
