      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Draft and revise regulatory documents, including proposed and final rules, Federal Register notices, and NEPA analyses under the MSA and TCA
      - Collaborate with NOAA staff to prepare briefing materials, policy reports, and presentations for relevant meetings
      - Coordinate and manage U.S. data submissions to IATTC, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements
      - Maintain communication and documentation with stakeholders and the IATTC Secretariat
      - Provide strategic policy input and recommendations regarding fisheries management issues

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree or higher in fisheries, marine policy, environmental science, or a related field
      - Demonstrated experience in fisheries or renewable natural resources policy and analysis
      - Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to distill complex topics for nontechnical audiences
      - Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Prior experience drafting federal regulations
      - Familiarity with the Pacific Fishery Management Council process or IATTC operations
      - Background in international fishery agreements or related diplomatic processes
