      Qualifications


      • Create a welcoming atmosphere that is people centered & service oriented
      • Provide courteous, prompt and sincere attention to members, guests, participants and staff.
      • Provide Healthy Living Initiatives such as Smart Start Trainings, Orientations, and other member engagements initiatives.
      • Ability to build genuine relationships with members helping them meet their healthy living goals
      • Responsible for member engagement and follow-up communication.
      • Strong organizational, computer, communication and customer service skills
      • Using good listening skills, deliver member-focused tours to potential new members and provide excellent service to active members
      • Answer phones, complete program registrations, membership sales and proficiently perform all
      • membership functions in the membership software system
      • Give exceptional tours when necessary – share the features of the YMCA and its offerings
      • Foster and build strong member relationships
      • Serve as a role model for policies and guidelines in the wellness center.
      • Maintain a safe, clean and functional wellness center by ensuring facilities are picked up, safe and free from clutter.
      • Replenish and maintain appropriate health and safety materials throughout the facility (hand sanitizer, paper towels, soap, disinfectant spray, etc.)
      • Provide motivation, one-on-one coaching and implement various member engagement initiatives
      • Good problem-solving skills and adaptable to change
      • High School Diploma or the equivalent
      • Preferred minimum Age 21+
