What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Receive, review, and coordinate correspondence related to claim files from customers and agents
- Enter new losses into the claims system and send required notices to relevant parties
- Process payments and manual checks in compliance with FEMA and internal regulations
- Maintain claim records, reports, rosters, and prepare claim files for quality control audits
- Manage vendor compliance and validate third-party claim vendors under the direction of claims examiners
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proven multitasking and time management abilities
- Proficient in Outlook and Microsoft Office
- College degree preferred
- 1-3 years of insurance or claims experience is a plus
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in call center-type work preferred
- 1-2 years of previous administrative support experience preferred
