What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Examine title orders within company guidelines to determine the conditions of the title and insurability
- Analyze and evaluate record documents for determination of ownership and legal descriptions
- Recognize title defects and formulate curative solutions
- Assess risks and liabilities that may jeopardize the company
- Prepare accurate title commitments in accordance with company examining procedures
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum 8 years' experience in retail purchase title examination in the state of Florida
- Must be proficient in examining and mapping Florida metes and bounds and section land
- Exhibit excellent computer skills and ability to quickly learn new programs and processes
- Knowledge of real estate law and title and escrow curative procedures
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written

- Demonstrate advanced knowledge of complex title matters
- Familiarity with title searching software
- Organizational skills and ability to work within established time frames
- Ability to research and reach reasonable decisions for requirements and exceptions on complex matters
- Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills
