What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and maintain relationships with OEMs, engineering firms, distributors, and end users
- Organize and conduct product presentations and technical discussions both in-person and online
- Collaborate with teams to create solutions, generate pricing, and prepare project quotations
- Provide technical product support and assist with troubleshooting for customers
- Participate in industry trade events and support marketing activities for Voith products
What is Required (Qualifications):
- A degree in engineering or business from an accredited institution; technical experience is preferred
- Experience in product management, application engineering, customer account management, or sales within the mechanical power transmission industry
- Ability to manage customer relationships and sales activities through CRM software
- Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time, primarily within the USA
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and customers
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Technical engineering degree or related experience alongside a business degree
- Previous experience in sales or customer account management in a related field
- Familiarity with rotating mechanical power transmission systems
- Experience participating in trade events or marketing activities
- Strong understanding of project management and customer service best practices
