Job summary
The role of a Food and Beverage Assistant at Avery Healthcare involves supporting the dining service and assisting residents with their meals. This includes tasks like setting up dining tables, keeping the front of house clean and tidy, and ensuring residents' dietary requirements are met.
Main duties of the job
As a Food and Beverage Assistant, your focus will be on supporting the dining service and assisting residents with their meals. This will involve tasks such as helping residents choose their meal options, setting up dining tables according to standard operating procedures, keeping the front of house clean and well-presented, and ensuring dirty crockery is removed and replenished throughout the day. You will also be responsible for maintaining accessibility of homemade cakes/biscuits, finger food, and fresh fruit in the bistro areas, as well as being aware of residents' dietary requirements.
