      JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for managing the safe at the venue, which includes balancing all cash, preparing deposits, change orders, and issues starting banks to Team Members. Responsible for auditing cash drawers throughout the day, and recording variances. This role will also train Team Members at the venue and must be trained as a QSR, which includes stepping in to perform each role as needed.

      Starting Pay Rate: $18.25 per hour

      MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

      • Performs all operational duties related to the daily opening and closing of a locations’ safe and cash funds. To include but not limited to issuing starting banks, providing change, performing audits and completing the end of day process.
      • Researches, documents, and reports discrepancies. Informs Management and Loss Prevention of any discrepancies.
      • Assists with training new and current employees. This includes providing and completing training checklists and partnering with management to ensure the Team Member is fully signed off. Provides daily “in the moment” training.
      • Operates cash register, follows cash handling procedures. Replenishes condiment stands, straightens chairs and tables, and maintains a clean, sanitized food service area by picking up litter and following established procedures.
      • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
      • Performs other duties as assigned.

      SCOPE: Responsible for managing a specific locations funds in the safe as it flows in and out throughout the day. Also responsible for auditing cash drawers and verifying discrepancies on any cash within the venue. Responsible for training Team Members and participating in the venue operation.

      EDUCATION: High school degree or GED is required.

      EXPERIENCE:

      • Cash handling, till management and foods service experience
      • Preferred experience in high volume and fast paced atmosphere
      • Equivalent combination of education and experience
