JOB SUMMARY:
Performs a variety of tasks in the preparation and service of food, including: portioning food for patients and staff, storing food and supplies, dishwashing and maintenance of department sanitation; performs other related duties.QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Must have Card or proof of completion of the Basic Food Handler's Course in California within 30 (thirty)
days of hire as required by Environmental Health Services of Kern County as of July 2011.
2. Ability to read, write and speak English. Ability to follow and comprehend written and oral instructions.3. Experience in quality food production in a hospital or similar facility is desirable, but not required.
