What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Actively seek and engage potential foster and kinship parents through various community outreach methods
- Build relationships and educate the community on the urgent need for foster parents
- Identify and inspire individuals to open their homes to specialized populations, including LGBTQ+ youth and high-needs children
- Support families through the certification process, providing necessary training and resources
- Conduct recruitment activities to drive awareness and increase foster parent participation
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in recruitment, marketing, or foster care
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Services or a related field
- Valid Driver's license with a clean record and current auto insurance
- Ability to pass fingerprinting and background checks
- SAFE Certification (can be completed upon hire)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience within the foster care system and knowledge of Colorado State Rules and Regulations (Vol. 7)
- Background in Human Relations, Social Services, Behavioral/Social Sciences, Non-Profit, Education, or Child Development
