Job Description

- Reducing foundry scrap to stated objective levels.
- Maintaining and implementing the Operations Procedure Manual.
- Submitting six months objectives.
- Meet or exceed operations labor budget expectations.
- Review and approve all operational invoices and ensure they are submitted for payment.
- Assist in implementation of total quality management system.
- Jointly with human resource manager and maintenance manager
- Establish and maintain in-plant safety programs including auditing and training.
- Assist in implementation of environmental programs to meet requirements of the state of North Carolina.
- Serve on EMS team with maintenance manager and environmental management representative working with relevant department managers, supervisors and employees to ensure all requirements of the EMS are met and maintained.
- Plan and review compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.
- Contribute operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; prepare and complete action plans; implement production, productivity, quality and customer-service standards; resolve problems; complete audits; identify trends.
- Forecast requirements; prepare an annual budget; schedule expenditures; analyze variances; initiating corrective actions.

- Degree in Business Administration or Engineering High school graduate required.
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, in a production role
- 5+ years of lead or supervisory experience
- Experience supervising groups ranging in size of 20+
- Business Acumen.
- Communication Proficiency.
- Problem Solving/Analysis.
- Project Management.
