What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Leverage data to develop and optimize fraud policies that create value for the employer and its customers.
- Conduct root cause analyses of individual fraud events and develop fraud defenses based on insights.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and design teams to implement fraud policies and features.
- Monitor fraud risk metrics and develop strategies to mitigate risk factors.
- Partner with data scientists to build and utilize fraud risk models in the employer’s risk policy.
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum 2 years of experience in fraud risk management or a quantitative strategy role.
- Minimum 2 years of experience using SQL, Python, or R for data retrieval and manipulation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in high-growth startups.
- Experience within consumer/corporate/small business cards, payments, invoices, lending, or related industries.
