  As an internal linguist you will translate, post-edit and proofread various types of text – depending on your specializations – from English into French. You will be involved in the production and maintenance of language resources such as translation memories and terminology databases, the creation of client-specific style guides, quality assurance processes, vendor reviews, etc. You will also provide linguistic support to project managers, who may work from our offices in Paris, London, Manchester or elsewhere.

  We need you to specialize in Life Sciences, but we also would like you to be a generalist, able to easily switch from marketing lingo to language that is more suited to technical subjects and back to a journalistic register. In addition, you should be able to work with a variety of technology tools and work both autonomously and as part of a team.

  Your profile:

  · Minimum Bachelor's degree or its equivalent

  · Native level of French

  · Translation and proofreading experience

  · Excellent command of English

  · Acute attention to detail, spelling and grammar

  · Able to adapt style and tone of voice to target audience

  · Quality and service oriented

  · Able to organize their own work, easily switch between projects and always meet their deadlines

  · Able to quickly familiarize yourself with new tools and procedures
