Job Description

- Lead the FSQ team effectively, ensuring all finished products meet required standards.
- Lead and coordinate internal and external auditing programs (BRC, Customer audits, KHMS, EHO).
- Conduct serious incident investigations, identify root causes, and implement preventative measures.
- Communicate and manage Top Losses for each area, ensuring improvement plans are in place.
- Develop and deliver training courses to site operations and engineering teams.
- Standardise and improve FSQ processes across the site, ensuring compliance with business and legal requirements.
- Maintain and improve systems to align with internal and external standards.
- Drive daily improvements in hygiene and housekeeping standards.
- Collaborate closely with the Senior Leadership Team to drive positive change.
- Liaise with various departments including logistics, consumer contact, pest management, cleaning chemical providers, operations, planning, engineering, EHS, CI, procurement, and R&D.
- A degree in an appropriate scientific field (Food Science would be advantageous).
- Experience in the food industry, specifically in Quality Assurance Management oand Operational Management.
- Extensive knowledge of HACCP, risk assessment, and continuous improvement techniques.
- Demonstrated management capabilities and a real drive to make informed FSQ decisions.
- Strong social, negotiating, and influencing skills to build and maintain relationships.

Role Purpose
Kraft Heinz Worcester is seeking a dynamic Food Safety and Quality (FSQ) Manager to provide leadership and lead FSQ issues across our on-site processes. This role ensures that all finished products meet legal and internal standards, BRC, and Halal requirements.
The ideal candidate will display an outstanding and positive enthusiasm as well as to demonstrate a real drive to make pragmatic, informed, and timely FSQ decisions that support the site while protecting our heritage brands.
