Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of golf cars, utility and personal transportation vehicles, professional turf-care equipment, and ground support equipment. Textron Specialized Vehicles markets products under several different brands. Its vehicles are found in environments ranging from golf courses to factories, airports to planned communities, and theme parks to hunting preserves.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in running assigned zone for all materials and area assigned.
• Conduct morning start up meetings to emphasize safety, set goals, and communicate weekly work plans in zone.
• Train and provide guidance to hourly employees within a zone of operation.
• Manage fulfillment needs of daily production schedules and any schedule revisions for materials within zones of responsibility.
• Participate in monthly safety audits and implement solutions based on identified gaps.
• Track and input of metrics for assigned zone.
• Assist team members with troubleshooting and problem-solving issues.
• Assist in identifying areas of improvement and support proper implementation.
• Ensure all company supplied tools and equipment used are properly stored at the end of each shift by reviewing daily inspection sheets for vehicles and PIT equipment.
• Execute and maintain acceptable performance standards for fulfillment, quality, safety, and housekeeping• Education: High School Diploma or GED required
• Years of Experience: 2 or more years of experience required, experience in warehouse environment required
• Software knowledge: MRP, SAP, WMS, YMS, and Microsoft experience preferredAbout the company
