What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design and execute software projects critical to the employer’s success, from conception to operation
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members
- Collaborate with various teams, including Technical Program Managers and Product Managers, to address customer needs
- Share knowledge and engage in professional development to raise engineering standards
- Contribute to team efforts within the first two weeks of employment
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BS degree in Computer Science, Applied Sciences, Information Systems, or a related field
- 3+ years of industry experience in designing and building fullstack software applications
- Expertise in React, Redux, and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Intermediate proficiency in Python and/or Go
- Experience with feature development and operational tasks in software applications
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, Django, Postgres/MySQL, and Prometheus
- Experience with LLM-powered tools and AI assistants
- Knowledge of containerization practices
- Experience working with distributed systems
- Understanding of AWS services and deployment practices
