- Provides reporting and analytics of donor data and organizational stats upon request for key campaigns, stewardship materials, supporters list, and annual report
- Develops and maintains standardized reports and dashboards for fundraising
- Supports Director of Philanthropy Operations in ongoing projects with Salesforce consultant and Operations
- Support affiliate and HQ Philanthropy staff to complete data entry as needed, including database clean-up projects, inputting data, attaching emails or documents, preparing spreadsheets for upload
- Assist in research to support infrastructure or process improvements
- Provide oversight and guidance on key data and help improve reporting capabilities
- Provide support for the development of Policies and Procedures
- Document existing processes across departments to assist with onboarding, training, and process changes
- Provide training across departments and offices for implementation or change of tools, processes, and best practices nationally
- Assist with change management by integrating new tools, policies and procedures into existing tools and workflows and updating training documentation
- Follow process for receiving and responding to all database improvement, troubleshooting, and staff training requests
- Address troubleshooting, small project, and staff training requests directly
- Work with Philanthropy Operations Team on medium and large projects, such as major database improvement projects, vetting and adopting new tools, developing new standard operating procedures, and ongoing reporting needs.
- Acts as team lead (working with GRID's Operations team) on primary technology tools, such as Salesforce, Microsoft Teams, Campaign Monitor, Haystack, and GoFundMe Pro fundraising platform
- 2+ years of experience in fundraising operations, donor services, or nonprofit data management.
- Proficiency in fundraising CRMs (e.g., Salesforce, Raiser's Edge, DonorPerfect).
- Passion for sustainability, affordable housing, the environment, or environmental justice, or just generally grounded in making the world a better place
- Detail oriented, productive, and works well under pressure with tight deadlines and changing priorities
- Fast learner and entrepreneurial problem-solver
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Suite
- Strong presentation, communication (written and verbal) skills, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks within a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and follow-through
- Team player who can work both independently and collaboratively
- Upholds donor intent, professional ethics for fundraisers, and the culture of philanthropy
- Experience providing administrative support including some or all of the following: database management, phones/customer services, organizing files or related activities.
- Good "customer service" skills and focus

- Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, Asana, or Smartsheet
- Nonprofit experience including familiarity with fundraising processes, such as grant management, events, and/or individual donation solicitation

Where you will sit & the places you may go...
This position may require 10%-25% out-of-town travel to regional offices and special projects. Availability to work nights and weekends may be required.
GRID Alternatives may provide vehicles for work travel and/or travel reimbursement for personal vehicle use. In this instance, applicants must hold a valid driver's license and have a good driving record.

This is a full-time, exempt position. Salary pay commensurate with experience within the pay band ($70k- $80k annually), plus the benefits listed below.
