      We’re seeking a future team member for the role of FX Trader to join our Buy Side Trading Solutions team with Global Markets. This role is located in Boston, MA - HYBRID

      In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

      • Manage all aspects of executing complex order flow, in support of BNY's internal asset management clients and in accordance with our best execution procedures
      • Ensure client orders are executed in an efficient, timely, cost-effective manner, and in line with trade instructions. Work closely with peers in middle office and with counterparties to ensure efficient and accurate booking of trades
      • Collaborate with the investment team, trade support, quant research and engineering teams to evolve our trading practices and ensure efficient implementation of investment decisions.
      • Maintain and develop constructive relationships with our internal clients, vendors and counterparties in a bid to constantly improve our processes

      To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

      • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
      • 2 + years experience in institutional trading of foreign exchange (FX) is preferred.
      • Quantitative skillset and experience with some combination of Python, R and SQL is a plus.
      • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment without compromising attention to detail or risk management.
      • Intellectually curious, self-starter mindset - capable of grasping complex concepts and workflows and a desire to continually improve
