What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Coordinate the purchase of merchandise, supplies, and equipment following established guidelines, policies, and laws
- Prepare, review, track, and expedite purchase orders
- Maintain records of goods ordered and received
- Monitor and track vendor performance
- Administer purchasing policies and procedures in compliance with regulatory guidelines and state/federal laws

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, PeopleSoft 9.0, and Team GA Marketplace e-Procurement
- Experience with electronic data record-keeping
- Strong writing, reading comprehension, and evaluation skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service focus

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with procurement or purchasing in a government or public sector setting
