  Job Description

  Infosys is seeking a GCP Cloud Engineer. This role requires close partnership and collaboration with Application Engineers and Subject Matter Experts.
  
  Required Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Dallas, TX or be willing to relocate to these areas. This position may require travel in the US.
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • At least 3 years of automation experience in Cloud Platform engineering domain.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Kubernetes and Terraform.
  • Experience in CI/CD Tech Stack.
  • Possess a firm understanding of the offerings within Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

  Preferred Qualifications:

  • Based on business requirements, design and implement cloud-native architectures and designs that will allow requirements to be met with a minimal degree of risk to Organization and with appropriate security controls present.
  • Identify and deliver appropriate controls based on industry standards to drive cloud and customer security solutions framework based on business risk and cloud native threats
  • Have a good understanding of GCP best practice/recommendation and should be able to align the same with the customer requirements to deliver best in class solution for the customer.
  • Basic understanding of AWS or any Cloud Provider.
  • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.

  The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
