      Zantech is looking for an upcoming talented General Clerk / Administrative Assistant to provide a variety of receptionist and clerical support duties for litigation staff, involving utilization of word processing software and filing.

      This role includes enforcement of pertinent administrative rules and regulations governing facility access, requiring the ability to apply judgment in conducting daily work, interaction with others, and taking initiative in planning tasks.

      Responsibilities include, but will not be limited to:

      • Receive telephone calls and visitors, control access to office and ensure only properly cleared visitors are authorized entry
      • Maintain telephone switchboard equipment and enforce facility access regulations
      • Monitor via closed circuit television the movement of individuals in and around the office
      • Receive, review, and distribute incoming mail/packages after screening
      • Respond to inquiries via phone, email, letters, and fax
      • Coordinate and prepare travel itineraries for case witnesses and litigation staff
      • Open/close cases in Caseview, print and assemble new case files
      • Provide litigation support by working with Duty AUSAs and Legal Assistants on coordination and notification of new arrest notices
      • Communicate court docket changes to legal staff and check daily court calendars
      • File incoming appeal files to corresponding criminal files
      • Monitor government vehicles (binders for keys, Wex Card, receipts, mileage log sheets)
      • Assist with inventory including submission of excess property
      • Conduct yearly records inventory of all active/inactive civil and criminal case files
      • Produce written documents utilizing word processing software from handwritten drafts, edited copy, or electronic files

      Required Experience or Knowledge of the following technologies/functions:

      • Skill in operating computers to produce documents, create spreadsheets and databases
      • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Software provider certifications for specific applications
      • Prior teaching/training experience with computer applications (database, imaging, automated litigation support)
      • Experience with DOJ office automation environments

      Required Security Clearance:

      • US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain an active Public Trust, per contract requirements
