Position Overview
The General Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and operational oversight of The Ranch at Rock Creek. This role requires a seasoned hospitality professional with a proven track record of managing luxury properties to the highest standards of excellence. The General Manager will uphold The Ranch’s reputation as a Forbes 5-Star property by ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational efficiency, and a motivated team of employees dedicated to delivering unmatched service.
Key Responsibilities
• Leadership & Strategy:
• Provide strong, hands-on leadership to all departments, fostering a culture of service excellence, teamwork, and accountability.
• Collaborate with ownership and senior leadership to develop and execute long-term strategies to maintain and enhance the property’s reputation and profitability.
• Operational Excellence:
• Oversee day-to-day operations across all departments, ensuring seamless execution of guest services and activities.
• Uphold Forbes 5-Star service standards by regularly evaluating guest experiences and addressing opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and monitor budgets, ensuring financial goals are achieved while maintaining operational integrity.
Guest Experience
• Lead efforts to create personalized and memorable experiences for all guests, ensuring the highest levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
• Handle guest concerns and special requests with professionalism and a solution-oriented approach.
• Team Management:
• Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of professionalism, engagement, and growth.
• Implement and uphold performance standards, providing coaching and feedback to drive continuous improvement.
• Community & Brand Engagement:
• Act as the face of The Ranch at Rock Creek, engaging with the local community, guests, and industry stakeholders.
• Maintain strong relationships with external partners and vendors to support the property’s operational and brand objectives.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 10 years of senior leadership experience in luxury hospitality, with experience managing Forbes-rated or equivalent 5-star properties.
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional guest experiences and achieving financial goals.
• Strong understanding of luxury guest expectations and the ability to maintain Forbes 5-Star service standards.
• Expertise in operations, budget management, and strategic planning.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a diverse team.
• Knowledge of ranch or resort operations, including activities such as equestrian programs, outdoor adventures, and dining experiences, is highly desirable.
