What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform various clerical duties such as data entry, composing correspondence, and preparing reports
- Operate standard office equipment, including computers, calculators, and copiers
- Provide customer service support to both internal and external clients via phone and in person
- Assist with phone coverage activities and receptionist responsibilities
- Compile and retrieve data for reporting purposes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- No specific experience required for General Office Assistant 5
- One year of administrative support experience for General Office Assistant 6
- Two years of administrative support experience, including one year at the intermediate level for General Office Assistant E7
- Ability to perform clerical tasks and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience providing clerical support to multiple staff members
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel
- Background in customer service roles
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities
- Demonstrated ability to develop reports or systems for information reporting
