- Autonomous patient care in line with clinical guidelines, protocols, PGDs, and PSDs.
- Wound assessment and management, ensuring appropriate dressing treatments.
- Conducting chronic disease management clinics (Diabetes, Asthma, COPD).
- Cervical screening and cytology.
- Performing investigations such as swabs, urinalysis, venepuncture, capillary blood testing, and BP measurement.
- Providing care under Local Enhanced and Direct Enhanced Service contracts.
- Childhood immunisations, flu vaccinations, and travel vaccination clinics.
- Adhering to infection control policies and ensuring a safe clinical environment.
- Promptly assessing patient concerns and making necessary referrals.

- Qualifications
- Essential:
- Registered Nurse Qualification.
- Membership of a professional body (NMC).
- Evidence of recent training
- Evidence of continuous academic development.
- Understanding of professional accountability.
- Experience working within a nursing team.
- Wound care management proficiency.
- Competency in cervical screening.
- Experience managing chronic diseases (Diabetes, Asthma, COPD).
- Previous Primary Care experience.
- Awareness of clinical governance.
- Minimum of 2 years post-registration experience
- Advanced chronic disease management expertise (Asthma, COPD, Diabetes).

About us
The Feldon Practice is a dynamic, well established, friendly, training practice looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, highly motivated and flexible Salaried GP to join our team 6 sessions per week.
We are based across two sites, Hawne Lane and Feldon Lane Surgery both sites local to Halesowen town centre.
Our team cares for approximately 9,450 patient and consist of 3 Partners, 3 salaried GP, 4 Practice Nurses, 1 HCA. We are also a training practice for GP Registrars. We have an excellent team of administration/reception staff who offer support and assistance to both our clinical team and our patients. We are a friendly, supportive, approachable team. We are a teaching practice for the university of Birmingham and support portfolio career choices.
We are part of the Halesowen PCN, so have a range of PCN Service to help support our populations health and wellbeing needs.
