Job Description
- Req#: 18773
- The GeoBase Administrator works closely with our government counterparts daily to plan and execute projects.
- Plans and executes GIS data development, web application development, the coordination of GIS training and the maintenance and accreditation of the GeoBase hardware and software.
- Assists Air Force organizations get the most out of GIS technology.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree preferred and 3 years of experience with the use and administration of Esri’s ArcGIS Desktop and Server solutions.
- The GeoBase Administrator has proven knowledge of GIS data development in an enterprise environment.
- Proven skill with integrating enterprise geospatial applications into new and existing business processes.
- Ability to get CompTIA’s Security+ certification. in 90 days of hire
- Active Top Secret clearance required
- Skilled in gathering requirements for applications from users of geospatial information.
- The GeoBase Administrator has experience providing formal and informal training.
- Knowledge of advanced relational database concepts.
- Skilled in providing formal and informal technical training.
- Knowledge of the USAF GeoBase Program.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD Map 3D.
- Knowledge of Trimble's resource/mapping and survey grade GPS solutions.
- Knowledge of administrating and configuring web mapping applications using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
- Skilled in web mapping applications using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS.
- Skilled in troubleshooting desktop, web, database, server problems.
- The GeoBase Administrator has knowledge of SDSFIE.
- Programming and scripting skills.
- Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal

The GeoBase Administrator provides geospatial solutions to attain, maintain, and sustain the PACAF and AFIMSC GeoBase vision of one geospatial information structure that electronically depicts built and natural infrastructure on each Air Force installation.
Compensation & Benefits:
Estimated Starting Salary Range for GeoBase Administrator: $110K - $120K
Pay commensurate with experience.
Fulltime benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.
