What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and maintain geographical information systems databases, applications, and tools
- Compile geospatial data, conduct analysis, and produce maps and reports
- Create, analyze, manage, and display geographic information for informed decision-making
- Support Web mapping in ArcGIS and integrate GIS with other computer applications
- Research new GIS and data analytics techniques and products
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in geography, planning, engineering, computer science, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of documented statistical experience
- Experience with ArcGIS Desktop Mapping Software
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Project, and/or SharePoint
- Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain DHS suitability
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Geographic Information Systems Professional (GISP) certification
- ESRI Technical Certification
